About Daniel
I am a fully qualified English teacher, with 5 years experience of teaching English as a foreign language. This has included both 1:1 and group settings, Cambridge examination preparation (currently), language and culture classes, covering all aspects of spoken and written English. I hold a BA (Honours) degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, as well as an industry-recognised certificate. I also have a further qualification in teaching Young Learners (children and teens).

My teaching method is heavily communicative, allowing students to have a wide range of practice with a native English speaker. My classes often focus on real-world, functional language to help students navigate day-to-day life in English, including both grammar and vocabulary, pronunciation and listening skills. For examination preparation, a focus is placed on becoming familiar with the exam itself, continuous practice and relevant topic choice and activities. Previous examination preparation classes given have resulted in high pass rates.
