About Juanita
I absolutely love teaching & tutoring & as I have a lot of patience, I do not mind repeating myself. We, as teachers, know the curriculum, so during the evaluation process, we identify the challenges ahead.
I have been teaching for 5 years (Afrikaans & English) and to date (Dec. 2025), I have taught 1,155 hours of teaching.
I love teaching. It is my gifting & I do it with great passion.
We grow into greatness (should we choose to) & because I love what I do, I encourage & uplift the students, which gives me even greater joy!

As each student is different, there is no set rule that applies.
We first ascertain where the student is lacking & then see what is required & how we are going to get there. Short term & long term goal setting, strategizing, planning, building confidence, is but a few starting points.
Then we work on the foundation of the applicable subject or project.
There are usually a few cracks in the learning processes from earlier school experiences (sometimes verbal abuse, sometimes no proper teaching techniques were followed, etc.)
After identifying the challenges, we teach new techniques.
Homework, projects, exam prep, skills, prioritizing, motivating etc. are all very important.
We as teachers, need to nurture & encourage & build.
Lessons should also be enjoyable.
English, for example, is not just another language, but THE international language. We need to help build future leaders as we all have influence.
When we stop learning, we stop growing.

Perfect! First session was very interesting and knowlagable at the same time and the Tutor is teaching in a pace that even a beginner can easily follow as well as using the examples that clarifies what you are learning about.

Details
Travelling is discussable. It all depends which area. The area needs to be safe and there needs to be secure parking for my vehicle.
Should the student run late, the time will be deducted from the student's time, not mine. I can travel, but the travelling money is payable by the client/student/family.
Please discuss any medication of student before hand or any other relevant & important information that I should be aware of. This makes such a big difference to be transparent.
Should there be any dogs, kindly do stipulate.
Kindly also supply current marks (and the year before) for the subject at hand & also discuss any special requests from your side (the family or student).
