About Alex
Hi, I'm Alex!
I'm a fifth-year university student studying a Bachelor of Arts (English Major, History Minor) and a Bachelor of Science (Human Biology Major, Biomedicine Minor) at the Australian National University.
I love helping students to realise their own individual learning goals. As someone who was tutored in school, I know how important it is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment when tutoring.
I’ve worked with a wide range of different students, from those who are struggling with classwork to those who are wanting to extend themselves. '
My main areas of expertise are English, mathematics, science and history; however, I’ve been a tutor for a number of different subjects. From geography to business studies, drama to physical education- and everything in between!

I use a variety of different methods to ensure that I provide individualised lessons to all my students. I work to build foundational skills to ensure that students don't get left behind in the classroom as well as helping students with any homework or assessments that they have been assigned. I may also assign homework to help my students retain what they have learnt during the lesson.
