I am an English Lit student at the University of Warwick, who is looking to tutor OCR English literature at GCSE.

About Freya
I have been passionate about English Literature for many years—I received a 9 at GCSE, an A* at A-Level and I am currently averaging a first in my degree. I believe in reading a text fully, not just memorising for an exam. I was a peer tutor in my sixth form, and currently teach Year 9 once a week through my University course.

I am happy to tailor lessons to a student's specific needs—whether that is close analysis, looking at the themes of a text or discussing revision strategies. I will typically teach for an hour at a time, and am happy to do this online. All marking will be done outside of tutoring sessions. My preferred age group is GCSE—Year 9 to Year 11.
