About Leeanne
As an experienced primary teacher of nearly 10 years in Scotland, i am passionate about education. I believe that it is never too early to begin on your journey and an enthusastic tutor can help make the most of it.
Before primary teaching, I taught at the University of Edinburgh. This involved teaching a mixture of first and second year students in Sociology and Scottish Politics, and is where my passion for teaching and education began.
I hope to continue to build on this through my role as tutor.

I utilize a range of teaching methods and styles that can be adapted to meet the needs of each individual learner. Lessons are around an hour long, but this can be tweaked to meet the requirements of the lesson. The hour typically give enough time to conduct a short pre-assessment, the main part of the lesson, and then an end-assessment which is then used to inform next steps.
Due to my experience, I am very confident in teaching children from ages 5-12 years old across all curriculum areas. I am most confident in all areas of literacy and maths and happy to cover more than one subject at a time if necessary.
