About Simon
I am a lecturer, tutor and writer who has a PhD in Creative Writing and English Literature. I have been teaching in Further and Higher Education for six years and have taught seminars, classes and given individual tutorials to a wide range of students. I am also a published poet and reviewer. My first degree was in Classical Studies so I am also able and happy to provide tuition in this area.

As a visiting lecturer and teaching assistant in Higher Education I have taught undergraduate students pursuing BA (Hons) degrees in English Literature, Creative Writing and American Studies. In Further Education I have instructed adults in Literature and Creative Writing Courses. I have taught texts and subjects from earlier through to contemporary literature, as well as practical creative writing workshops in poetry, fiction and non fiction.
