About Mia
Hi, I'm Mia! I hold a degree in English Literature from the University of York and am currently studying for an MA Law (Conversion). I have over four years of tutoring experience, supporting students from GCSE to A Level, including many neurodiverse learners.
I achieved A* grades in English Literature and Religious Studies at A Level, and I am passionate about helping students build both confidence and enjoyment in their studies. My teaching style is supportive, engaging and tailored to the individual student, as I believe that genuine progress comes when students feel comfortable, interested and challenged.
Whether working on exam technique, essay writing, close analysis or subject knowledge, I aim to make lessons interactive and approachable while maintaining high academic standards. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to develop a lasting confidence in their own abilities.

In each lesson, I endeavour to bring a fun and memorable approach to studying literature, helping the student to enjoy English and build a confidence that will ultimately help them to achieve their goals and beyond!
