About Kathryn
Hi there, my name is Kathryn. I am an experienced English tutor that has lived overseas for the past fifteen years. I am an English Literature graduate and former teaching assistant and nanny so I have a lot of experience working with children of various ages, from those who are complete beginners at English to those who just need some homework assistance or help with writing their essays. I have even gone on to tutor some of my previous students' parents. What draws me to tutoring in particular is being able to see the progress my students achieve in real time and the satisfaction I feel knowing I have helped them to get there.

I offer lessons to primary, middle and senior school students that are beginners at learning English or have some understanding but want to further their literacy skills. I also work with students that may already be competent in English but want to improve their essay and CV writing. My lessons will take up to an hour and I will start by first evaluating your current skill level and establishing what it is you're looking for exactly and how I can be of help. From there, we will work at a pace that is comfortable for you until you are feeling more confident and no longer need me. I hope that we can work together to reach that point!
