About Rebecca
Hi! I'm Becca, and I have been tutoring primary and secondary students since I was 16. I understand that the classroom environment can be overwhelming and distracting and believe that 1-1 tutoring can really aid in making learning clear and fun. I tutor for you, so will cater to your needs and will show you how getting things wrong and having a go is a brilliant way to learn.

I used to swim competitively and required tutoring myself to achieve as much as I could academically as well as physically, so I understand the range of reasons to seek tutoring! I have tutored both primary and secondary school pupils, and have learned how to adapt myself as a tutor to best support my tutee. I like to understand how a tutee views English literature and language first, so I can explain what examiners are looking for (and how English develops skills outside of school!) from a familiar perspective and basis. I appreciate how everyone learns differently, and will always check that I am being coherent.
