About Rosa
My name is Rosa and I’ve loved English for the majority of my life. Education is also a huge passion of mine and the ability to help people engage in a subject I care about would be an immense privilege. I feel I am well placed to offer my services as I achieved 11 Grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A Level (with an A* in EPQ too) meaning I have an excellent recent working knowledge of how to respond to these exams successfully.

I am aware of the complexities of revising for, and succeeding at, an essay-based subject in the current system. As such, I would attempt to take an enthusiastic approach to the teaching of English with engaging sessions tailored to the student’s current proficiency. I would keep a tight focus on mark schemes and the structure necessary for achieving the highest grades while ensuring there is space for the creativity that makes English so brilliant! I will adjust to any texts a student is studying and tailor sessions to their specific needs.
