About Esme
I am a current English literature student who enjoys anything to do with reading, writing, and critical thinking. I want to teach because I would love to inspire younger pupils to enjoy and appreciate the whole subject of English, as this topic is so diverse and interesting!

To be a high-achieving student is to not look at anything surface level, and truly get into the what’s and why’s of any text studied on a GCSE or A-Level course. I truly believe that understanding the deeper meaning and wider context of any text is essential to becoming a great writer and student, and my teaching allows for no answer to be the wrong answer, instead simply being a way to improve and extend your knowledge. As a recent post-A-Level student currently studying at University, I am up to date with the curriculum and understand what it takes to be able to achieve the best of your abilities, and do well in your final exams.
