About Anika
Hello. I am a Sixth Form student looking to inspire the love of learning in those I have the opportunity to teach. Outside academics, I enjoy performance, reading, and sprinting!
My favourite moments whilst teaching are not only the moments when the concept clicks for the student, but also the curiosity which forms over time within them. I enjoy reading English and I hope I can pass this joy to you through teaching.

My lessons are student-centred, meaning they are centred around your needs for improvement. We may go through feedback on an essay, project, or assessment. Or, depending on the student, we may investigate challenging words, concepts, and ideas. My recent firsthand experience as a student allows me to view learning from your perspective. This will both aid your understanding of the topic and provide you with realistic strategies for learning.
I have a year's worth of teaching experience in English Literature for GCSE. I also have many years of experience mentoring or guiding younger students pastorally and with other subjects.
I achieved seven 9s across my nine GCSE qualifications (all of which I scored above average), with a Distinction in the English Language Spoken Endorsement. I also attained full marks for Drama coursework, which required analytical skills and time management. Before this, I successfully passed the 11+ which allows me to share my advice with younger students.
My lessons are for younger students (basic literacy), 11+ candidates, and KS3 students.
