I am a first year student at Oxford university studying English language and literature. I also have knowledge of philosophy, ethics, theology, Latin and french.

I’m new to teaching but am planning to teach certain set texts about which I would help with the assessment objectives, such as literary theory, close analysis, finding thematic links and writing essays. I am also happy to help with interview practise. I find that English is best done discursively and following individual interests but I would do this alongside my own suggestions of what may be considered interesting to engage with in a certain text. Furthermore, I would help students in finding the resources they need which can sometimes be trickier at A level.
