About Nico
I am a junior at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, majoring in English. Literature is my passion; I love reading, and especially writing. I excel with creative writing and essays, two that are a bit opposite, but still walk hand in hand with some of the skills needed to proficiently write them. I strive to build my skills as a writer and an English major every day. Most of all, I hope to spread my love for literature with others, and if not, at the very least make the process of writing essays a bit easier for them.

I am a current college junior offering lessons for middle and high schoolers. I can offer one-on-one feedback based on writing samples, and with a rubric from the assignment help the student better fit the grading criteria presented. Every teacher is looking for something a little bit different, so it's important to know how to adapt to that and improve their writing to a higher quality to match those expectations. I can also provide one-on-one help with learning to analyze and understand a given text. Reading comprehension is often overlooked as a need for students but is a vital part of their ability to understand a given text and offer their own ideas based on it. I adapt my lesson plans entirely on the needs of the person I am working with; whatever is a priority for them to achieve will be what a game plan is created for within whatever time frame is available. This can mean small short-term goals like evaluating a reading for class or bigger goals like getting help finding direction and revising an important essay over the course of a week, starting out with the planning phase of the essay and ending with evaluating and revising, which can be done with or without a provided rubric.
