About Jade
Im currently an English major at the University of Sydney specialising in Creative Writing. I’ve always had a love for English and am passionate about sharing that enthusiasm with students. Study can become a chore but when I was in school I had tutors that cared about my interests and would have interesting conversations with me about source material, it really helped motivate me to do my study and helped to inform my teaching philosophy now.

My approach would be primarily focused around a students specific needs. I would happily tailor Essay writing, help guide novel study and aid with study methodologies (such as mind maps, quote write-outs and essay-mapping), Time management and notes organisation to streamline your study. A lesson would typically be an hour and would be based around general study habits when there are no looming assessments. In the case of the former I would help organise schedules and look over drafts or help with practice essays.
