About Casey
I am a tutor at Saddleback college and work directly with the professor to help college students in and outside the classroom. I have been tutoring college students for about three years now and almost four years tutoring high school students. I am proficient in research, argumentative, comparison and contrast, and informative papers. I know how to cite and format APA and MLA, teach act prep, grammar, and structuring essays properly.

My teaching methodology is the Socratic method. Which is 90% asking and having the student talk and 10% providing answers. This method is beneficial because it allows the students to critically think about what the answer may be instead of handing them easily without no effort.
