About Christopher
I taught English for several months at the ATC language school in Dublin. In this excellent establishment, I learned a lot about teaching methods. I taught general English with a focus on written and oral communication, as well as the study of more advanced elements of Irish culture. I also conducted a 'World of Work' class that prepared students for English in the corporate world for their future job. Finally, I personally tutored students who wanted to take the Cambridge Advanced Exam. Through this experience, I understand how to evaluate students effectively and thus I am able to trace their progress. Group teaching has also allowed me to develop my own teaching style. With this experience, I was able to maintain a high level of professionalism by being systematically on time and with my lessons prepared.

I can teach at home, in a café or in any Paris library. English is my native language: to immerse oneself totally in the English language is the main point of my methodology. Teacher at all levels (A1-C1), I can adapt my course to your specific needs by focusing on different aspects such as grammar, oral, business English or the monitoring of your school . My lessons are very dynamic and use many teaching techniques that I learned during my training at Trinity College. At the beginning of a class, we will focus on specific vocabulary while working well on pronunciation. The audio-linguistic method I use allows students to develop a more natural construction of English. By adapting to the level, we make the grammatical theme, study literary extracts and lead projects of oral expression. Through my teaching experience, I have assembled a large collection of materials to support my classes. I will put these documents at your disposal as you go along so that you can progress at home as well. Finally, I use a continuous evaluation method to be able to reflect your progress throughout my classes.
