About Sappho
I am a first year student at UCL studying European Social and Political Studies. I completed my A level qualifications in 2021. My aim as a tutor is to ensure that my tutees feel comfortable and engaged during our sessions. The lessons will be personalised and I will use my own resources, combined with those of the exam boards to strengthen the topic areas in which they may feel weaker.
Lessons:
In the first session, I will set qualitative and quantitative goals and expectations. After looking at my student's work, we will determine together the areas which need more focus whether that be content or structure, or both. We will then set an action plan in order to make the most of each and every session.
My Qualifications:
A Levels - English Lit (A*), Religious Studies (A*), Spanish (A), Politics (A)
GCSE - 11 subjects
I am trilingual speaking English, French and Spanish (French mother-tongue)
I am passionate about my subjects and look forward to supporting students in becoming more confident and ready to embrace their exams.
