About Juliana
Hello! My name is Juliana, and I’m a native English speaker with a strong passion for language, literacy, and creative learning. I hold a Master of Arts from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Psychology from McMaster University. Over the years, I’ve developed meaningful experience teaching English in Haiti and facilitating art-based learning groups for newcomer families in Canada, often working with children and adults who were just beginning to learn English. These roles helped me grow as an adaptive, patient, and encouraging educator, always finding creative ways to build connection and understanding. In addition to English, I also speak French, which supports my ability to work with learners from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Whether you're looking to build confidence in speaking, improve writing, or expand your vocabulary, I offer a warm, personalized, and professional approach tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
