I have a degree in Primary Education. I have undertaken various placements, teaching small groups and full classes. I have a special interest teaching all areas of English/Literacy/Writing as it is the area I excelled in my university units and also my high school subjects.

I understand that all students have the ability to learn. I work towards getting to know my students and understanding their strengths and weaknesses. I then tailor the content towards their needs so that the gaps in their learning can be developed. I get my students to complete pre and post-testing so I can gauge an idea of their initial levels of understanding and what they have learned after the content has been taught.
