About Liza
Of Irish origin but having always lived in Paris, I am sensitive to issues surrounding language abillities as I juggle between English and French on a daily basis. Coming from an English international middle / high school, I obtained my international bac (OIB), with an English literature program which reinforced my love for the language of Shakespeare!
I am currently studying for a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Paris, and the sciences behind learning are at the heart of my work. I want to give others tools to learn the language intelligently.

My method for language courses is based on the need for a good quality of communication. Goals are established with the students and the authenticity of course material provided allows for individual adjustments.
It is also important for me to convey cultural elements of the language. This contributes to a better understanding of the language as a whole and helps digest it's more formal aspects.
I try to vary activities as much as possible between each class to encourage plaisant exanges and awaken my student's interest.
For more advanced levels, I also teach English literature. I am particularly well disposed to give preparation courses for the OIB exams.
