About India

Hi my name is India, and I am using tutoring to try and save money to go travelling around the world.

I thought one way to do this is to help tutor children, as I have always had a passion for English and helping those around me. Over my time at school I have achieved many prizes for my writing and even started an English club to help those taking GCSEs.

The best way for children to succeed is for children to have confidence in themselves. Therefore, I tailor all my lessons to each child to ensure they are being taught in the best way for them.

About the lesson

I have a passion for English and helping people learn. I believe that to help children learn, it is important to explain topics clearly, to focus on building confidence and to use repetition to embed good habits.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes. I achieved an A* in English and am familiar with the GCSE curriculum.

I tutor primary school children and GCSE students, adapting each lesson to the student’s level and needs.

My teacher predicted me a 4 in Edexcel GCSE English, hoping for a 5 come summer. These expectations rapidly changed when India introduced different revision methods and taught me the correct essay technique. I cannot recommend her enough - thank you so much!
