About Jacob
Hi! My name is Jacob, and I'm an English teacher in my first year offering English tutoring and essay feedback! (From University of Notre Dame Australia)
Outside of this app, I have tutoring experience ranging from year 8 to HSC advanced English.
In my HSC course (finished in 2018), I did Physics, Maths ext. 2, English ext. 1 and drama. If you ever feel like you need any extra support in maths, feel free to let me know! Just because I'm listed as an English tutor doesn't mean I can't be flexible.

It's all well and good to go out and memorize 1000 words of content you *mostly* understand, but I strongly believe in in-lesson knowledge retention and building up understanding of key ideas so you can produce something original with minimal homework. That's why I am big on asking YOU questions, and getting YOU talking more than me to see what YOU think about the text.
