Other Qualifications :
1) Trinity College London ATCL Diploma in Communication Skills
The Associate of Trinity College London Diploma taught theory relating to communication, public speaking and English language was learnt and used effectively to present to a range of audiences.
2) London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA)
LAMDA Speech & Drama awards with distinction for grades six, seven and eight in public speaking. Attained LAMDA grades four, five and six in verse and prose as well as grades four and five in acting.
3) Bronze, Silver & Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards
Completion of all three Duke of Edinburgh Awards improved teamwork, resilience and practical survival skills such as map reading and outdoor safety.
4) RAF Eastern Area Leadership Training & Instructor Cadet Qualification
Completion of all RAF Eastern Area Leadership Training courses (stages one, two and three) developing leadership, communication, teamwork and survival techniques. This led to the completion of the Instructor Cadet Qualification which assesses lesson planning, lesson delivery and interaction with students.
5) (Voluntary) Primary Tutoring
One year spent helping a year six class with classwork and homework once per week. Activities were also organised by myself and the class teacher in conjunction with the curriculum.
6) Part-time work with Apple and King's College London Marketing & Admissions
In addition to my studies at King's, I work part-time at Apple where I focus on sales and visual merchandising in the flagship Regent Street store. For the past two years I have also worked at a Higher Education Liaison Representative with the marketing department at KCL to actively recruit and advise students (who are currently in higher education) about the process of applying and studying at university.
7) Summer work with an international language school
During the summer of 2017, I worked with an international language school (Move Languages Ahead) to support students who had come to the UK to learn English. This work required me to prepare activities outside the classroom and assist with work that teachers had set.
