I am a secondary education and English teacher for high school students. I have a passion for teaching and experience with all age and ability levels. I am technology literate and able to provide your student the extra support they may need during remote learning.

My teaching approach is differentiated depending on the individual student . I spend time getting to know my students as people and building rapport while also assessing their strengths and weaknesses. I am big into building a learning partnership where students are able to vocalize and discover strategies that work for them as well as develop the skills necessary to take ownership for their learning. I believe in meeting students where they are at and building upon lagging skills in a fun and respectful way.
