Teaching has always been an important part of my life. I have taught in various different schools and countries which have allowed me to experience many different types of students. During my career I have been Head of Department; Head of Literacy; and had the responsibility of training new teachers.

Assessment for Learning, with a key focus on mark schemes and the exams themselves. Will tailor lessons to the needs of the specific pupils as all learners are different. As a result of twenty years' experience in teaching, tutoring, and examining I can teach relating to any relevant methodology or skill and am well versed in all exam texts. The lessons will focus on preparation for the GCSE English and English Literature exams.
