About Ayana
I earned my degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, and writing has been a lifelong passion of mine. I’ve been crafting poetry since childhood, which shaped not only my love for language but also my deep understanding of how words can inform, persuade, and inspire.
Professionally, I’ve worked in advertising as a copywriter, where I developed expertise in clear, compelling, and strategic communication. This experience allows me to confidently teach professional, academic, and creative writing with equal strength. Whether it’s a research paper, college application essay, business communication, or a piece of creative storytelling, I understand how to adapt writing to different audiences and goals.
As a tutor, I focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals in grammar, structure, clarity, and voice. I don’t just edit papers — I teach students how to think critically about their writing so they can grow into confident, independent writers.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves clearly and effectively — whether they’re aiming to improve their grades, strengthen their professional communication, or develop their creative voice.
