About Allison
With a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Minor in Creative Writing, I began my career as a writer and editor for print and online publications. I earned a Master of Science in Teaching and became certified to teach Elementary Education, grades 1-6, Students with Disabilities, grades 1-6, and English, grades 7-12. I have taught at almost every grade level between subbing and full-time positions. As an English teacher, I have successfully prepared students to take the NYS Regents exam in English. As a Special Education teacher, I have crafted and implemented IEPs. I also have experience in ABA instruction.

I teach primary reading and literacy skills as well as advanced formal and creative writing skills for middle and high school students. I differentiate instruction for each individual's needs.
