About Tra My
Hello!
You can expect from me a learning experience that is tailored directly to my students abilities and needs. Across my wide range of teaching experience I have prided myself on tailored lesson plans.
Most recently I have worked as a lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy Vietnam, a high ranking public university in Vietnam. In this role I had the opportunity to design curriculum content, and I created a highly engaging American Literature module, that met the needs of my students. Bearing in mind my students were ESL, I used interactive learning methods and included a authors diverse canon, touching upon Asian American literary voices.
I also have experience tutoring privately and through voluntary schemes, such as the 1:1 scheme, where underperforming GSCE students are paired with University students for subject specific mentoring.
Apart from teaching, I am also happy to assist with essays, coursework, feedback as well as examination prep.
