About Olivia
I have 8 years of experience teaching English and hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and Applied Linguistics. I have guided learners from beginners to advanced students, focusing on fluency, writing skills, and analytical thinking. My experience includes preparing students for academic success, enhancing conversational confidence, and fostering creativity in communication.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes adaptability, encouragement, and practical application. I focus on creating lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to the student’s interests and learning style. Students are encouraged to explore language creatively, ask questions freely, and develop confidence in expressing their ideas.
Outside teaching, I engage with literature, current events, and linguistic research to provide students with relevant, inspiring material. My English lessons are designed to build fluency, comprehension, and communication skills in an engaging and interactive environment. Lessons cover reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary expansion, conversational practice, and analytical thinking. I use storytelling, roleplay, discussion exercises, and written assignments to make learning both practical and enjoyable. Lessons are tailored to each proficiency level. Beginners focus on basic sentence structure, vocabulary, and simple conversation to build confidence. Intermediate learners explore complex sentence construction, essay writing, reading comprehension, and discussion skills to enhance clarity and expression. Advanced learners refine writing style, critical analysis, presentation skills, and nuanced conversational ability for academic, professional, or personal purposes. Each lesson combines practice, feedback, and exercises to support steady, measurable progress.
