About Thasie
I'm currently a tutor for first-year Journalism and Medis studies students at Rhodes University. I teach, mentor, and grade a class of about 15 students in this course. More than half of my class has made it to the top 120 Journalism class for the 2nd year. As a Journalism student and tutor, I am well advanced and knowledgeable in English, literature, and writing skills.

As a student still I have an understanding that for students to perform well they have to be well-motivated about what they doing and feel in control. I believe that as a tutor it is important to develop a relationship with your students that keeps them motivated and keen to learn at all times. It's most important that I make sure they are comfortable enough to want to raise questions or concerns with me so they are able to grow and learn in the most efficient way.
