About Sharna
I am an experienced English tutor with a First Class Joint Honours degree in English Language and English Literature. I take a gentle and understanding approach to tutor clients in areas ranging from KS3, GCSE and A level. My approach is tailored to each student, taking into consideration their interests, strengths and weaknesses in order to boost confidence in uncertain areas. I ensure that students understand their studied texts well, and feel confident in translating that knowledge into well-read, insightful and high-scoring essays.

Perfect! From my free trial session with Sharna, she has already helped me identify some areas I had been struggling with in English literature , and she made sure to be engaging about the subject. She explained the concepts clearly to me, and asked me relevant questions and gave me practical tips I could use right away, I already feel more confident about Macbeth after the one session, and I’m excited to keep learning with her support.
