About Jay
I have had experience with Student peer tutoring at Westlake Boys' High School dealing with Year 9 - 11 students. With my support students have felt more comfortable and able to attempt questions and improve their English academic abality. I follow through with my English studies by studying Psychology and Communications Majors at Auckland University, where I write for the student magazine 'Craccum'.

With my NCEA qualifications of Level 1 & 2 Excellence English course endorsements, Level 3 Merit English course endorsement and NCEA Scholarship English, I am able to offer all rounded tutorship for English from Years 1 - 13. I can offer broad forms of memorisation techniques, learning improvments excersises and study-centred stress support for students. With NCEA work in particular, I am able to section and create activites splitting the three key externals into lessons that tackle and focus on key points and traps. I am cheerful and will be able to engage your student in a realtable yet firm fashion to study.
