About Jade
When I was in primary school, I had a wonderful tutor, who tutored and really taught me to love reading. I excelled in the kind and supportive environment that she created, where I excelled at English. I want to create that same for you in tutoring.
I am passionate about tutoring English because it gives students the tools to express their ideas, think creatively, and succeed in their studies. I enjoy helping students grow in confidence with reading and writing while making learning engaging and approachable.

My tutoring sessions are designed to build academic skills and student skills in English (and other subjects!) for students in year 2 to university undergraduate level. I use a structured and supportive approach to help students strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and critical thinking skills. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop skills to become independent and confident learners.
No student is the same and my approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's needs in a kind and supportive environment.
I have over 12 years of experience working as a tutor from year 2 students right up to university students, and have had extensive experience working in education from student services officer to events coordinator.
The typical length of a lesson is 40 minutes for younger students and those from year 4 onwards is 60 minutes.
