About Sofie
I have been tutoring English at my high school for 2 years. I just finished Bilingual High school, where I also did the IB English language and literature course (in higher level). I mainly taught students in the lower years, but also some older students. I really like English and teaching gives me energy! I also really enjoy teaching English to younger children!

When I get a new student, I always start by looking at what someone finds difficult. When we figure this out, I do my best to find and make material so that we can practice as much as possible. Often I let a student do a number of assignments and afterward we check it together to find and explain mistakes. I can also explain grammar or help with reading in English.
For young children who are just learning, I will try to get them to talk as much as possible. Another technique I could use is to watch English videos together and to talk about it, or to have them ask questions about English words. After all, you learn best when you are curious.
