About Keya
I’m a dedicated guitar tutor with over a decade of experience teaching and mentoring students. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. My teaching focuses heavily on advanced ear training. Transcribing solos is a central part of my lessons. It develops precision and deep musical awareness. I also help students learn to identify chord progressions without written music. This strengthens improvisation and composition skills. I support expressive players and those driven to write original material. I push students to trust their creative instincts. Ideas are respected and refined. Students gain confidence by finishing songs. We craft musical stories together.
