About Elizabeth
I have taught lessons for over 20 years. I have helped hundreds of students from America to Africa and Amsterdam! I keep up my own playing by studying privately myself-i know what its like to be a student!! And I play first flute in a local orchestra.

I have been a private flute teacher for over 20 years. Pre pandemic, I was already teaching online lessons with students all over the globe from Africa to Amsterdam!
I believe anyone can do great things with support, self belief, and experiences. With reflection (through writing) and competing with themselves (through goal setting) and conquering aspects of flute playing, my students learn they can do anything they set their minds to.
Personally, when I journal, I become very self reflective and goal oriented. Therefore, I give my students occasional written assignments. When I set a goal and reward myself along the way, it’s a positive growth experience. I provide this experience for my students whether it’s stickers for follow through or stuffed animals for scales learned.
I believe in building community. With online lessons, periodically we will have Zoom recitals!
