Enthusiastic and committed student at King's College London - English tutor with Maya

To whom it may concern,

I line-managed Maya for ten weeks through the first part of her internship at Vauxhall City Farm, through the King’s College London ‘Civic Leadership Academy’. From the off, Maya impressed with her exceptional interpersonal skills and drive. Managing Maya in a professional capacity outside of her second year studies, Maya was always incredibly organised, proactive and diligent in all her work.

Maya's academic skills and multi-disciplinary knowledge was demonstrated clearly throughout her time with me during the internship. Studying Global Health and Social Medicine, Maya possess a broad range of all-important trasnferable skills, including exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, team-working, critical analysis and research. Her academic proficiency was evident from the beginning in the creation of well-written research briefs and presentations as her tasks demanded.

Through getting to know Maya over the period, it was clear she applies herself to numerous other, positive and dynamic extra-curricular activities too. I'm certain this would Maya an exceptional and inspiring tutor and role model.

Crucially, Maya is very confident, and her aforementioned interpersonal skills equips her to be a great tutor, with patience, great communication skills and focus being just some of the relevant attributes!
