About Stephanie
As a lifetime functioning teacher and exceptional writer, I am leaving the dog training field (a slightly different kind of teacher) to better serve the academic community by passing on my English writing expertise to you personally! I am able to successfully merge together and utilize independently my left and right brain hemispheres by writing successfully in many capacities, including, but not limited to: scientific essays, literary essays, and award-winning personal essays. My mother was a lifelong middle/high-school teacher and now works as an author, and my grandfather worked as a college professor and was also an accomplished author of many books and scientific articles, so perhaps this explains what I know to be true: teaching and writing are natural gifts that run in my blood!

I've instructed people of all ages (5 years old, all the way to 75 years old) on various topics ranging from cooking to training canine companions. If I have learned anything, it is that everyone learns differently and a one-size-fits-all approach is likely to leave a few in the dust per class. I've been able to intuitively know how to best teach each individual, and therefore, each group class. I am able to effectively teach both individually and in a group setting. As with anything I am passionate about, I am able to make occasionally mundane topics interesting by demonstrating how each topic or idea directly applies to real-world situations, and often by inserting some humor and fun in each lesson. I am a big proponent of class discussion time as well, as that generally engages even the most disengaged- even if only mentally rather than explicitly verbally. Come and take a class with me and see what YOU think!
