About Oenone
Since graduating from the University of St Andrews, I have tutored a variety of children. I have particular experience of working with children with learning difficulties and low confidence, having worked as a learning support assistant at a London secondary school for the last year. I am now training to become an English teacher.
Prior to working in schools I worked in the publishing industry.
I am an avid reader and love enthusing my students about different books, plays and poems.

I am a friendly and approachable tutor and enjoy boosting the confidence of my pupils. I also believe in challenging them and encouraging them to be ambitious with their learning.
I frequently use the “I do, we do, you do” method of learning to help model to students the best way to structure paragraphs and develop arguments.
