My core philosophy is simple: I teach students how to fish, I don't give them fish. My goal is to develop genuine mathematical confidence and critical thinking skills that last a lifetime. Teaching Method & Techniques Conceptual Focus: I focus on understanding the "why" behind every formula, using interactive questions and visual aids (like the online whiteboard) to guide the student toward self-discovery. Adaptive Learning: I tailor the complexity and format of tasks to the student's specific curriculum (e.g., Singapore, Cambridge, or the high school program) and learning style. Active Engagement: I use a variety of assignments, challenging the student with non-standard problems to develop logical thinking, rather than just routine practice. Patience & Structure: I am highly patient and ensure a comfortable pace. I set homework after every session and provide thorough, timely feedback to track and measure progress. Accountability: I regularly conduct small quizzes/assessments to ensure material is genuinely mastered before moving on.
