About Vicky

I went back to university as a mature student, and the main reason was to become an English Tutor. I have always enjoyed helping people understand topics and subjects, and I always find a way to clear up any confusion students have when they stumble across difficult areas. I also like to give my students confidence because anything is possible once they have confidence in themselves. I want them to feel like we are in this together and I'm here to help them, and I never want them to feel alone or like something is too difficult. There is always a solution to every problem!

About the lesson

All of my classes are unique and tailor-made to each student's needs. At the first meeting, I like to get to know the student and discuss their goals. From there, we can both devise a plan we are happy with to help us achieve these goals. Everyone learns differently and I like to see how my students like to learn before proceeding with a plan and the lessons are for 1 hour. I have been a Tutor since 2018, and have tutored a number of different subjects, with English being my main topic. I have worked with kids who have Autism and who were non-verbal over the course of 2020 and watched as their speech started and has since improved. My lessons are from age 3 for anyone whose children may be struggling with their speech and go onto Primary, Secondary, and Degree levels. I also am a certified TESOL teacher.
