About Caitlin
I am a French and English Literature tutor currently pursuing a joint honours at university of Glasgow. I have experience tutoring in both French and English for a year, and achieved a's at both subjects in advanced higher and at university. I worked in France as an au pair for a year before coming to uni, and so am close to fluent in the language! I have just finished a summer teaching english in China, working towards my tefl and gaining lots of valuable teaching experience. Crucially, although a native speaker will of course have more knowledge of the language, i have a knowledge of the exam structure and will more easily understand the differences between french and english that learners struggle with. I also have the best experience with the scottish system as i took it myself and have tutored this before. Hope to hear from you soon!

I like to cater my classes to the needs of the people i'm teaching. I have taught people who simply wanted to learn english/french for fun, and i have also taught those who want extra help in order to succeed in exams. Of course my lessons are different depending on these needs, but i always try to keep them casual, fun and well structured so that both the student and i can feel us progressing.
