About Zoe
Hi!
My name is Zoë and I have been tutoring for nearly 10 years now. My specialisms are in Biology and Maths, and I have worked particularly with the GCSE syllabus for both subjects for many years though I am comfortable with Biology at A Level too. I am a qualified teacher and left teaching full time to focus on tutoring and ensuring students have access to high quality tutoring.
I have a degree in Biochemistry along with a Master's degree and a PGCE teaching qualification. I have taught students as young as 6 years old and I have also taught adult learners so whatever your age or ability, I'd love the opportunity to work with you!
I have the facility to support online tutoring and I also have flexibility to accommodate tuition within the daytime. I also offer group tuition sessions and so if there are siblings working at a similar level, or a small group of friends looking to learn together, we can also make arrangements for this.
I'm very flexible, and have a fun and engaging way of teaching which was graded 'Outstanding' when observed. I believe in sharing responsibility with students and never asking more than what I would be prepared to do myself.
I'm always happy to have a conversation about whether tutoring would be the right decision and I fully understand that it is an investment, and not something many people choose lightly. I will always make sure that students, parents/guardians, and myself as a tutor are all happy and comfortable working together before we agree and confirm any number of session. I'm more than happy to offer heavily subsidised trial sessions too.

She instills a desire to want to learn by the way she shares information with you, and can adapt the information to suit the level at which it is required.
