About Oam
Hi! I’m a recent A-Level graduate who studied Maths and Further Maths, with a strong focus on Statistics. I really enjoy helping others build confidence in topics that can feel confusing at first. I love seeing students realise that Statistics can actually make sense when explained clearly and patiently. I specialise in Statistics and know how tricky it can feel without clear explanations — so my goal is to make complex ideas simple and relatable. I break down difficult topics step by step, using real-life examples and plenty of practice questions to help you build confidence and exam technique. I adapt every lesson to what you need — whether that’s tackling specific A-Level Statistics modules, revising core Maths content, or doing guided practice with past papers. I’m patient, encouraging, and I always explain things in different ways until it clicks. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I’m flexible if you need shorter or longer sessions for mock prep or deep dives into challenging topics. I recently completed my A-Levels in Maths and Further Maths, achieving top grades and focusing strongly on Statistics. I’ve informally tutored classmates and younger students, helping them understand tricky concepts and improve their exam performance, and I really enjoy encouraging other students to be confident with topics they find difficult. My lessons are ideal for A-Level students (including Further Maths) or GCSE students who want a head start on Statistics before sixth form. Whether you want regular support throughout the year or targeted help before exams, I’m here to help you achieve your best results.
