About Hannah
I am a psychologist / performer / student who enjoys studying and learning. I am tutoring in Psychology, English and Theatre Studies which I got all A* in at a level. I am currently studying psychology as I hope in the future to become a child psychologist due to my experience of working with children over the past 4 years. I got into private tutoring because I feel in schools it is hard to enable a child’s true potential due to the large class sizes and in order to help a child truly succeed lessons must be tailored to their specific learning needs. I also spent a year of my life at drama school where I learned a lot of acting training for all those interested in studying to improve their acting and performance ability.

My teach methods begins with an understanding of the child’s learning process. I.e what type of learner they are. From this I am able to develop lessons which will encourage that student to learn this new information and retain it so they are then able to apply it. Once the student has learnt the basics of what they need to know, I then tailor specific exam question style sessions where I work through an exam style question with the student showing them techniques of how to best answer in an exam. The progress of the child is tracked through preset goals created at the beginning of the course of tutoring.
For one off lessons, I will simply work through a topic with a student with an exam question to test their knowledge st the end of the session.
