About Jill

I am an ESL teacher who has had experience with students from very young children to adults. I am currently a teacher in a lovely city in Ecuador and I adore my job. I joined Superprof this summer and have truly enjoyed tutoring my students. The lessons are always interesting and fun and I have been able to build great relationships with my students. I feel very inspired when my students use the skills I have taught them during our lessons. I get so excited every time I receive an email from a new student requesting lessons, so don't hesitate to request a lesson! The first lesson is free, so we can learn more about each other and discuss the details of what you would like to gain from the lessons.

About the lesson

I am a native English speaker from the USA who is willing to teach students at any level. I am TEFL certified and will conduct the lessons in accordance to your learning style. I keep the lessons exciting and easy to follow. We will work together as a team to make sure you are learning as efficiently as possible. I will construct lessons that focus on the aspects of English you would like to learn. Together we will develop your skills in speaking, listening, writing, and comprehension.

I have always struggled with math especially algebraic equations and matrices. In college I took algebra for calculus and was on the verge of failing because I had a hard time understanding the material even though I took time to study everyday. Jill helped me not only understand the material but she was able to get me on my feet so I felt more confident in the math field. My grades increased and I was able to pass the class. Jill is a trustworthy teacher because she was devoted to helping me understand and was consistently scheduled study hours for practicing. She didn't mind answering my last minute calls or emails about problems I couldn't solve and she was enthusiastic and passionate about the subject which led me to be more interested in it. Based on my experience I fully recommend Jill as a tutor and am confident that she will be able to help other people as well.
