About Amber
I am a fourth year veterinary student based in Surrey and Portsmouth, who achieved 3 A*’s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level and also achieved 10 A*’s at GCSE. Happy to tutor all ages and ability up to A-level. I have previously tutored Maths and Biology and enjoy working with children.

I base my lesson plan on the current curriculum - working through each topic by explaining basic concepts and linking them with real world examples. I accompany each topic with example exam questions, and endeavour to engage every student by appealing to unique learning styles. I provide homework to each student to allow for independent learning time where I would then provide feedback and a mark scheme in line with the style of the specific exam board.

Perfect! Amber is incredibly knowledgeable with regards to Biology and is able to convey that knowledge in a way that is easy to understand. I strongly recommended Amber as a tutor is you are looking to excel in your studies.
- Ali has been having a great few lessons, really building on his biology knowledge with subjects such as breathing and lung diseases. We are working on using key words and concepts in his answers to get the marks in the exam.Amber's response :

Amber is a warm, kind and chatty individual! She is a great listener and will make you feel completely at ease.
I met Amber whilst at university and she started tutoring me as I had to retake my A-level Biology. I could not recommend her services enough as she helped me achieve an A*! Her teaching style was brilliant. She used very detailed lesson notes to act as a framework for her teaching. She set challenging yet achievable homework which really helped progress my learning. I would highly recommend Amber for A-level biology.
