About Johnny
I am a Queen's commerce graduate with a degree in bachelor of commerce. After running a successful marketing agency since second-year university, and working full time in IT professional services serving clients like TD, J.P Morgan, and Mastercard for the last 3 years, I now have the time to pursue my passion to help people here learn more about the beauty of my culture through language I am also a full-time dog dad with a 4-year-old husky and an amateur basketball enthusiast.

I believe in the style of teaching where all components should be interactive. Focusing on speaking and communication, the goal is to guide my students to the level where they are able to conversate in essential daily interactions. The lessons are for entry level mandarin learners with a passion to apply their learnings in day-to-day life.
English was my second language. When I had my English tutors growing up, one stood out to me as he applied the same methodology of teaching that allowed me to quickly adapt and transition into the new environment when I moved to Canada. He helped me get over my fear to speak and enabled me as an efficient communicator which helped me excel quickly after I moved. I am looking forward to bringing that style of teaching and results to my fellow students in my practice
