Beto Wetter is an environmental historian and advocate dedicated to advancing resilient environmental futures through research, policy, and community engagement. With an MPhil in History from the University of Oxford and a BA in History from Bowdoin College, Beto focuses on the intersection of environmental policy, infrastructure, and renewable energy. His academic work examines the historical roots of environmental inequities and their impact on marginalized communities. Beto's experience spans environmental justice initiatives, sustainable energy advocacy, and local government resilience efforts. He has worked as a Sustainability Leadership & Research Fellow with the Oxford SDG Impact Lab and as a fellow with Green Foothills, honing skills in environmental policy and practical advocacy. Passionate about bridging history with forward-thinking solutions, Beto seeks to create equitable and sustainable outcomes by blending academic expertise with real-world action. Currently balancing multiple roles in the climate space, Beto is committed to leveraging his skills in environmental research, policy, and advocacy for a future where both people and the planet thrive.
